Sumner schools provide FAQs to parents on opening plans

Sumner County (TN) board members approved Crown Castle's lease extension for a tower behind Indian Lake Elementary School. The company will pay $28,000 rent to keep the tower in place, but it must be moved within 60 days after August 31, 2022. 'We don't want the cell tower there anymore, but we also don't want individuals on the peninsula to be unable to use the phone,' said Sumner County Director of Schools Dr. Del Phillips. 'I think what we have is the best solution we can come up with.'
