Danaher Corp. said it expects core revenue in the first quarter to grow above the high end of its previous guidance.

For the quarter ended April 2, the conglomerate Tuesday said it expects revenue to grow about 57% and core revenue, including Cytiva, to grow about 29%. The company said it sees strength in the life sciences and diagnostics business.

The company will hold its first-quarter earnings call April 22.
