Bristol, September 8: Deliveroo today announces that it has launched its first delivery-only site in Bristol, forming part of a major expansion of the company's delivery-only sites over the next 12 months.

The company pioneered the creation of delivery-only sites in April 2017 - known as 'Editions Kitchens' - and now has 18 sites across the country with over 120 kitchens and 60 restaurant groups. The new site in Bristol will have 9 restaurant partners in total, hosting a range of best-loved restaurants from state-of-the-art kitchens - all set to be live in the coming weeks:

  • Zumu
  • The Athenian
  • Pasta Evangelists
  • Coqfighter
  • Kricket
  • Kokoro
  • Byron (launching soon)
  • Oowee Diner (launching soon)
  • Honi Poke/Sushi (launching soon)

The launch of the delivery-only site in Bristol will help provide an additional source of revenue for the restaurant partners and allow them to attract even more customers without the cost of setting up a new restaurant. The new site will reach the majority of the Bristol population, providing many locals with access to the Deliveroo service for the first time.

The range of new restaurants will create greater choice for customers and bring new cuisines and some of the best-loved new restaurants to the local area, all exclusively on Deliveroo and delivered in under 30 minutes.

This is the first launch outside London in over 3 years, since the company launched a site in Manchester in 2018. Bristol has always been a food-loving city, and this latest launch represents a huge opportunity to bring 9 incredible new restaurants to a rapidly growing Deliveroo customer base.

As part of its expansion plan, Deliveroo is committed to supporting the communities in which it operates and will work closely with the local councillors, community groups and residents to ensure each new site supports the local community. Examples of support include skills training for young people and investing in cookery classes for local school children.

Finn Lagun, Co-Founder & CMO at Pasta Evangelists, said: 'We are delighted to be bringing our freshly made pasta and sauces to the people of Bristol in partnership with Deliveroo. This marks the first time Pasta Evangelists has appeared on Deliveroo outside of London, an expansion made possible by Deliveroo Editions, we look forward to feeding the city with an abundance of delicious pasta!'

Meera Mittel, Editions Director from Deliveroo said: 'We truly love the food scene in Bristol, which is why we are excited to be opening our first delivery-only site in this brilliant city with 9 new restaurant partners. Bristolians can now enjoy amazing new food from a whole host of the best-loved restaurants, delivered in under 30 minutes. The new site aims to help increase business for our restaurant partners and create even more work opportunities for site staff and riders.'
