Deutsche Post AG said Wednesday that it will hire more than 10,000 temporary workers to manage the increase of parcels in the run up to Christmas.
The German freight-and-logistics group said it expects the volume of parcels to rise 70% in November and December compared with September. It forecasts up to 11 million parcels on some peak days.
