DIAMOND HILL INVESTMENT GROUP, INC. COLUMBUS, Ohio - April 14, 2021 - Diamond Hill Capital Management, Inc., a subsidiary of Diamond Hill Investment Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: DHIL), announced today that CEO Heather Brilliant has joined the board of Future Ready Columbus (FRC), a nonprofit collective impact organization with a mission to ensure children's futures are not determined by their zip codes.
The organization welcomed five new board members, all of whom are leaders in central the Ohio area. The board will help provide leadership for a community-led initiative, known as Future Ready by 5, to ensure that by 2030 100% of children in Franklin County are ready for kindergarten. The initiative will focus on a number of action-focused issues impacting kindergarten readiness in the region.
'I am excited to join Future Ready Columbus and help them achieve their mission,' said Brilliant. 'As members of the community, we all win when our children are better prepared for their future.'
As part of their research, Future Ready Columbus is asking the community to answer a 10-minute questionnaire to offer insight and perspective that will help shape a plan that best serves Franklin County and its citizens.
