Draper Esprit : congratulates Connect Ventures as they announce their $80million seed fund

We are pleased to be join Top Tier Capital Partners, Isomer Capital, British Patient Capital, De Agostini, Big Society Capital, and Korelya Capital investing in this, Connect Ventures 3rd fund.

Connect Ventures is a thesis-led venture capital firm based in London and investing across Europe. The company invests in seed-to-Series-A level startups with a focus on both B2B and consumer software companies. Since their establishment in 2012 they have backed over 50 startups like Citymapper, Curve, Fiit, and Typeform. We are delighted to Sitar and the Connect Ventures team as part of the Draper Esprit seed Fund of Funds programme which was launched in October 2017.

Since launch, we have invested in 20 seed funds from across Europe. We back seed funds across Europe to fuel the next generation of investors and visionaries. We have committed over £39.1million, which will be invested over approximately 5-10 years. These funds have invested in over 300 companies and have raised an aggregate amount of capital of £1.1 billion. The programme offers us a healthy pipeline of opportunities and in return we ensure that the early stage market is well funded and able to help their most promising companies scale up when they need later stage funding to grow.
