Ennis Inc. provided earnings guidance for the fourth quarter and full year ended February 29, 2016. For the quarter, the company expected consolidated net sales in a range of $127.4 million to $128.4 million, consolidated gross profit in a range of $33.6 million to $34.2 million, consolidated net earnings in a range of $7.0 million to $7.4 million, diluted earnings per share in a range of $0.27 to $0.29, adjusted EBITDA in a range of $15.8 million to $16.2 million, interest expense of $0.2 million, depreciation and amortization of $4.4 million.
For the year, the company expected consolidated net sales in a range of $568.1 million to $569.1 million, consolidated gross profit in a range of $152.3 million to $152.9 million, consolidated net earnings in a range of $37.8 million to $38.2 million, diluted earnings per share in a range of $1.47 to $1.49, adjusted EBITDA in a range of $79.1 million to $79.6 million, interest expense of $1.4 million, depreciation and amortization of $17.5 million.
Ennis, Inc. is engaged in the business of manufacturing, designing and selling business forms and other printed business products, primarily to distributors located in the United States. The Company offers snap sets, continuous forms, laser cut sheets, tags, labels, envelopes, integrated products, jumbo rolls and pressure-sensitive products in short, medium and long runs. The Companyâs Adams McClure brand provides point of purchase (POP) advertising; the Admore, Folder Express, and Independent Folders brands provide presentation folders and document folders; Ennis Tag & LabelSM provides custom printed, labels and custom and stock tags; Allen-Bailey Tag & LabelSM, Atlas Tag & Label, Kay Toledo Tag, and Special Service Partners (SSP) provide custom and stock tags and labels; and Trade Envelopes, Block Graphics, Wisco, and National Imprint Corporation provide custom and imprinted envelopes. It operates approximately 54 manufacturing plants throughout the United States in 20 states.
