For the first three months of 2024, E.ON reports roughly stable year-on-year adjusted net income and adjusted EBITDA, at around €1 billion and €2.7 billion respectively.

The German energy group reports that it pursued its growth strategy over the period and increased capital expenditure by almost 25%, with the majority of investments of around €1.3 billion in network infrastructure.

In view of these results, E.ON confirms its annual targets of adjusted net income of between 2.8 and 3 billion euros (or EPS of 1.07 to 1.15 euros), adjusted EBITDA of between 8.8 and 9 billion euros, and capital expenditure of around 7.2 billion euros.
