Forward Electronics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 233.122 million compared to TWD 172.289 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 9.993 million compared to TWD 37.378 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 10.904 million compared to net loss of TWD 66.574 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.07 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.42 a year ago.
Forward Electronics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the production and sales of optoelectronics products, information appliance peripheral products and electronic components. The Company's optoelectronics products include backlight modules, liquid crystal display (LCD) modules and light emitting diodes (LEDs). The Company's information appliance peripheral products include game consoles, vehicle anti-collision systems, financial terminal systems, computers, wireless sensing devices and others. Its electronic components consist of switches, variable resistors, bit generators, sensors and others. The Company also provides lighting products. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
