Forward Electronics Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 251.77 million compared to TWD 240.75 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 82.83 million compared to TWD 16.81 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.59 compared to TWD 0.12 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.59 compared to TWD 0.12 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 665.85 million compared to TWD 713.68 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 122.1 million compared to TWD 30.42 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.87 compared to TWD 0.22 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.87 compared to TWD 0.22 a year ago.
Forward Electronics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the production and sales of optoelectronics products, information appliance peripheral products and electronic components. The Company's optoelectronics products include backlight modules, liquid crystal display (LCD) modules and light emitting diodes (LEDs). The Company's information appliance peripheral products include game consoles, vehicle anti-collision systems, financial terminal systems, computers, wireless sensing devices and others. Its electronic components consist of switches, variable resistors, bit generators, sensors and others. The Company also provides lighting products. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
