Fukuvi Chemical Industry Co.,Ltd. (TSE:7871) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase 350,000 shares, representing 1.69% of its share capital, at ¥568 per share for ¥198.8 million. The company will repurchase its shares in order to implement a flexible capital policy in response to changes in the business environment and improve capital efficiency, along with aiming for shareholder profits. As of October 31, 2019, the company had 20,674,567 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 13,858 shares in treasury.
FUKUVI CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CO.,LTD. is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of synthetic resins and inorganic compounds. The Company has two business segments. The Construction Materials segment manufactures and sells glass fiber reinforced cement (GRC), windproof and permeable sheets, plastering materials, bus panels, interior base sheets, heat insulating materials, long cushions, system double floors, floor tiles, among others. The Industrial Materials segment manufactures and sells window frames, doors, furniture products, housing components, vehicle parts, furniture and precision chemical products, among others.
