Gentera, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported net interest income was MXN 6,018 million compared to MXN 5,108 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 1,238 million compared to MXN 595 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was MXN 0.78.
For the six months, net interest income was MXN 11,946 million compared to MXN 9,729 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 2,215 million compared to MXN 914 million a year ago.
Gentera SAB de CV (Gentera), formerly Compartamos SAB de CV, is a Mexico-based financial institution specialized in banking and credit services. Genteraâs main activities are: granting loans and credits to communal banks, community groups, low-income individuals; offering saving accounts, insurance policies, administration and human resources services, making payments of family remittance and granting operation with securities and other financial instruments.
