HT Media Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 3,939.9 million compared to INR 4,092.5 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 4,269.8 million compared to INR 81.9 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 503.1 million compared to INR 1,558.9 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 2.18 compared to INR 6.74 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was INR 2.18 compared to INR 6.74 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was INR 7,874.1 million compared to INR 8,293.4 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 8,721.5 million compared to INR 8,798.5 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 687.2 million compared to INR 1,904.4 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 2.97 compared to INR 8.24 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was INR 2.97 compared to INR 8.24 a year ago.

The Company operates through three segments: Printing and publication of newspapers and periodicals; Business of entertainment, radio broadcast and all other related activities through its Radio channels operating under brand name Fever 104, Radio Nasha and Radio One 94.3 in India, and business of providing digital services through Shine.com (job portal). The Company is also involved in the sale of various other digital offerings in the form of online advertising, subscription revenue, and syndication revenue.
