JB Woori Capital Co., Ltd. announced a private placement of 7,471,608 shares at the price of KRW 6,692 per share for gross proceeds of KRW 50,000,000,736 on April 26, 2021. The face value of the shares is KRW 5,000 per share. The transaction will include participation from returning investor JB Financial Group Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A175330) to retain its 100% stake in the company. The capital increase will be done through shareholder allocation increase and number of new shares allocated per share would be 0.0693948. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of the company. The shares will be restricted for resale for one year. The scheduled subscription date, payment date, and expected date of the issuance is May 6, 2021.
JB Financial Group Co Ltd is a Korea-based holding company mainly engaged in the financial industry. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Banking Business segment engages in the business of supplying funds in the form of short- and long-term loans to recipients of funds, using funds acquired in the form of deposits from the general public as the main source.
