Jiangmen Kanhoo Industry Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2020. For the half year, the company announced sales was CNY 660.368 million compared to CNY 823.475 million a year ago. Operating loss was CNY 49.470 million compared to operating Income of CNY 30.162 million a year ago. Net loss was CNY 34.904 million compared to net income of CNY 25.117 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.1645 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of CNY 0.1184 a year ago.
Jiangmen Kanhoo Industry Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of rare earth luminescent materials and lithium battery materials. The Company primarily provides rare earth luminescent materials for power-saving lamps, which are applied in the manufacture of power lamps and rare earth luminescent materials for new-emerging industries, including rare earth luminescent materials for flat panel displays and specialty light sources, which are applied in the manufacture of liquid crystal displays (LCDs), plasma display panels (PDPs) and specialty-use lamps, such as cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFLs), light emitting diodes (LEDs), full spectrum lighting lamps, white light LED solid-state lamps, lamps for plants and ultraviolet healthcare lamps, among others. The Company also provides LED fluorescent material and cathode materials for lithium batteries, among others. The Company distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets.
