The Polish delegation, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Jacek Sasin and KGHM CEO Tomasz Zdzikot, is attending the CESCO World Copper Conference in Santiago, Chile. This is one of the world's most important events for the mining industry. The delegation will visit, among other places, the Polish booth at the conference, where KGHM's achievements and foreign investments will be presented.

The Polish booth at the international conference includes an exhibit about KGHM's Sierra Gorda mine in Chile, as well as the so-called Polish Room. Films on copper mining will be shown at the booth, and there will also be an opportunity to exchange experiences and talk about KGHM's largest foreign investment. Information about other companies of the KGHM Group, including KGHM ZANAM, will also be provided. The mining machines manufactured by the company are winning many customers in foreign markets.

The exhibition was opened by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin, who stressed the importance of "KGHM's Chilean link, which has been steadily improving both production and financial results over the past years." During the conference, the Polish delegation will meet with government officials in Chile.

Tomasz Zdzikot, the CEO of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., added that the presence in Santiago among the world's mining giants confirms how important a player KGHM is. "Our example shows that Polish companies can not only compete with the world's largest companies, but also beat them. We are the eighth-largest copper producer in the world and the second-largest silver producer, so we are clearly a company that must and should be present here," added the CEO of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.

The CESCO World Copper Conference is one of the most important trade and networking events in the copper industry, attracting more than 2,000 delegates from around the world. It involves many hours of panel discussions, talks, meetings, and special events dedicated to the copper market. It is attended by representatives of major companies and institutions involved in the copper market.
