Kung Long Batteries Industrial Co.,Ltd announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,695.958 million compared to TWD 1,705.033 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 275.611 million compared to TWD 250.618 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 226.856 million compared to TWD 209.978 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.77 compared to TWD 2.57 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 2.76 compared to TWD 2.56 a year ago.
KUNG LONG BATTERIES INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing, assembly and trading of storage batteries. The Companyâs primary products include sealed lighting batteries, locomotive batteries, automobile batteries and related raw materials. The Companyâs products are mainly used in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) devices, medical equipment, communication devices, firefighting equipment, wireless telephone apparatuses, lightening products, electronic equipment and toy cars, among others. The Company operates through three business segments: Taiwan segment, Vietnam segment and others segment.
