Kung Long Batteries Industrial Co.,Ltd reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 783.89 million compared to TWD 1,838 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 53.62 million compared to TWD 241.36 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.66 compared to TWD 2.95 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.66 compared to TWD 2.95 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 4,424.73 million compared to TWD 5,231.33 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 481.74 million compared to TWD 647.23 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 5.89 compared to TWD 7.91 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 5.87 compared to TWD 7.88 a year ago.

The Companyâs primary products include sealed lighting batteries, locomotive batteries, automobile batteries and related raw materials. The Companyâs products are mainly used in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) devices, medical equipment, communication devices, firefighting equipment, wireless telephone apparatuses, lightening products, electronic equipment and toy cars, among others.
