La Comer, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 8,503.12 million compared to MXN 7,197.56 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 485.5 million compared to MXN 347.77 million a year ago.
For the six months, sales was MXN 16,114.36 million compared to MXN 13,810.86 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 967.63 million compared to MXN 722.24 million a year ago.
La Comer SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company primarily engaged in the food retail sector. The Company focuses on operating self-service stores under La Comer, Fresko, City Market and Sumesa brand names. It sells general grocery products, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, soft drinks, alcohol, as well as pet food and accessories, among others. Its stores also distribute pharmacy and bakery products, as well as serve ready to eat meals, such as tapas, seafood snack, tortilla, pizza, coffee and cake. Furthermore, the Company operates a restaurant, called Jajalpa, where organizes occasional events and meetings.
