La Comer, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 8,358.12 million compared to MXN 7,339.06 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 431.87 million compared to MXN 390.87 million a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was MXN 24,472.47 million compared to MXN 21,149.92 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 1,399.49 million compared to MXN 1,113.11 million a year ago.
La Comer SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company primarily engaged in the food retail sector. The Company focuses on operating self-service stores under La Comer, Fresko, City Market and Sumesa brand names. It sells general grocery products, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, soft drinks, alcohol, as well as pet food and accessories, among others. Its stores also distribute pharmacy and bakery products, as well as serve ready to eat meals, such as tapas, seafood snack, tortilla, pizza, coffee and cake. Furthermore, the Company operates a restaurant, called Jajalpa, where organizes occasional events and meetings.
