Leaf Clean Energy Company is a Cayman Islands-based company, which is engaged in investing in clean energy projects, including in North America. The Company's investments consist of interests in companies, which are not publicly traded or freely marketable. Clean energy includes activities, such as the production of alternative fuels, renewable power generation and the use of technologies to reduce the environmental impact of traditional energy. Its projects are engaged in wind power generation facilities and storage solutions, production of hydrous ethanol, as well as hydroelectric project development. The Company's subsidiaries include Energia Escalona Coopertief U.A, Escalona B.V, Energentum Energias Renovables S.A. de C.V., Energia Escalona s.r.l., Leaf Invenergy Company, Leaf Invenergy US Investments, Inc., Leaf LFG Company, Leaf Biomass Investments, Inc., Leaf SkyFuels Company, Leaf Solar Company and Leaf VREC Company.
