Groupe BRIAND signed an agreement to acquire Astron Buildings S.A. from Lindab International AB (publ) (OM:LIAB) on September 23, 2021. Astron's sales amounted to approximately SEK 950 million in 2020. The acquisition is subject to anti-trust approval in Russia, which is expected to be received within two to four months. Until approval is obtained, Astron will continue to be part of Lindab. The transaction is not expected to have any larger impact on Lindab's total cash flow. As of December 3, 2021, Antitrust body approved the deal. Groupe BRIAND completed the acquisition of Astron Buildings S.A. from Lindab International AB (publ) (OM:LIAB) in the 3 day period ending on December 31, 2021. The change of ownership took place in the period 28-31 December, 2021 and Astron Buildings is no longer part of Lindab Group. Philippe Aucher of BDO France, Investment Banking Arm acted as Financial Due Diligence provider to Groupe Briand SAS.
