Lojas Renner S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported revenue was BRL 3,017.63 million compared to BRL 2,628.29 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 257.86 million compared to BRL 171.96 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.2661 compared to BRL 0.1745 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.2653 compared to BRL 0.1739 a year ago.
For the nine months, revenue was BRL 9,256.99 million compared to BRL 6,699.98 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 809.88 million compared to BRL 217.33 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.8304 compared to BRL 0.2309 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.8279 compared to BRL 0.2301 a year ago.
Lojas Renner S.A. specializes in the retail distribution of clothes and accessories for men, women and children. Gross sales break down by activity as follows:
- sale of products (90.4%): clothes, lingerie, shoes, bags, accessories, perfumes, cosmetic products, etc.;
- financial products (9.6%).
At the end of 2021, the marketing of the products is ensured through a network of 636 stores under the Renner (404), Camicado (119), Youcom (104) and Ashua (9) names in Brazil, and through Internet.
