Nexam Chemical appointed Christer Svanberg as the new Chief Technology Officer. Christer Svanberg comes most recently from Borealis in the role of Head of Competence Centre Energy and head of the Borealis Innovation Centre in Stenungsund and has solid experience from both research and application development. He takes up the position during the month of November.

During his years at Borealis, Christer Svanberg has held a number of leading positions in research and application development. In addition, Christer Svanberg has worked in academia. He has a doctorate in materials science and worked as an assistant professor at Chalmers University of Technology.

Christer Svanberg will replace current CTO Francesco Pisciotti, who chose to continue his career outside Nexam Chemical.
