Nippon Soda Co., Ltd. provided earnings guidance for the second quarter ending September 30, 2020 and full year ending March 31, 2021. For the second quarter, the company expected Net sales to be JPY 63,000 million and Operating profit to be JPY 2,700 million.
For the full year, the company expected Net sales to be JPY 138,000 million and Operating profit to be JPY 6,700 million.
Nippon Soda Co., Ltd. is primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of chemical products. The Chemical segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of industrial chemicals, synthetic chemicals, dye products, functional materials, eco-care products, pharmaceuticals and medical intermediates, among others. The Others segment is involved in the casting, processing and sale of alloy, the treatment of industrial wastes, the leasing of lands and equipment, the manufacture and sale of molded synthetic resin, among others.
