Norcod has been granted permission to establish a new production location in Nesna municipality with a total maximum allowed biomass (MAB) of 3,599mt. Bjornvika is the company's second location in Nesna and, together with Labukta, forms a production cluster with a total capacity of 7,200 mt MAB. The new site will be equipped with aquaculture technology, driving sustainable production emphasising welfare for both fish and employees.

Including Bjørnvika, Norcod holds a total of six production sites along the Norwegian coastline encompassing in total 24 licenses with MAB of 17,500 mt. Norcod is now providing harvest ready cod from its third cycle and is also completing the process of stocking its fourth cycle for sea phase this current quarter.
