As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Goodwill, Ooredoo recently celebrated the completion of the fifth wave of its popular Spring Forward programme, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour. Held under the auspices of His Excellency Sayyed Salim Musallam Al Busaidi, the Ministry's Undersecretary for Human Resources Development, and Amaal Al Lawati, Ooredoo's Chief People Officer, the event recognised the 23 graduates and their projects, including the winner, SAYADTI for Car Care, which was created by Khola al Juanaibi, Afrah Al Juanaibi, Najma Al Mamari and Aida Al Kiyumi. Starting in September 2021, the programme included four leadership workshops and self-development sessions.

Raed Mohammed Dawood, Director of Branding, Communications and Corporate Affairs at Ooredoo, said, "Ooredoo always aims to support the advancement of the Omani people, while fostering sustainable economic and social growth. For almost five years, the Spring Forward programme has provided participants with a unique opportunity to learn how to manage a team and work on their confidence as leaders. Benefiting women and men of all ages, interests, social status and career paths, we work closely with industry leaders and licensed trainers to pursue their development and growth."

As part of a global career development programme, Spring Forward is a central pillar of Ooredoo's CSR strategy. Sitting alongside the award-winning Springboard programme, which is now in its 20th wave (having launched in 2014), the courses aim to help young Omanis reach their full potential, while addressing the current needs of the market with the long-term impact in mind.
