Phoenix Life Sciences International Limited (“Phoenix Life”, ”the Company”) announced that it has broken ground on its first Community Clinic and Dispensing Pharmacy for the treatment of diabetes in the Republic of Vanuatu. The Company held a groundbreaking event at 11:00 a.m. on March 5, 2019 in Erakor Village, Vanuatu. Through this Community Clinic and future locations, Phoenix Life plans to increase healthcare infrastructure throughout the nation to promote better health and provide significant improvements in healthcare, initially in the field of diabetes management. Now at locations around the Island Nation and at the event, Phoenix Life offers complimentary blood sugar screenings to test for diabetes and pre-diabetes in the population. Approximately 400 people were screened at the event. Attendees were served a healthy lunch made of traditional Vanuatu cuisine (Island Kai Kai) and taught about ways to improve their health through clean eating habits. The clinic will be the first of a national network of Community Clinics and Dispensing Pharmacies for Phoenix Life and will feature examination rooms, analytical labs, a dispensing pharmacy and other services for the health of the local people. As Phoenix Life continues rolling out its screening program “Sik Suka ? Jekem Ia !”, and a national network of Community Clinics and Dispensing Pharmacies, Phoenix Life invites all Vanuatu citizens to receive free blood sugar screenings and, if applicable, treatment.
