Piper Sandler Companies announced the addition of Brandon Rice as a managing director within the healthcare investment banking group. Rice joins Piper Sandler with 17 years of healthcare investment banking experience in strategic and capital markets transactions across the med-tech sector. Rice will continue to cover the med-tech sector and will be based in the firm?s New York office.

Prior to joining the firm, Rice spent 17 years at Bank of America Securities, most recently as a managing director in the global healthcare investment banking group. In this role, his primary focus was M&A advisory and capital raising for both public and private disruptive medical technology companies. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in 2006, prior to its merger with Bank of America Securities.
