Polylite Taiwan Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 153.038 million compared to TWD 113.054 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 5.349 million compared to operating loss of TWD 6.565 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 20.317 million compared to TWD 8.268 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.44 compared to TWD 0.18 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.43 compared to TWD 0.18 a year ago.
Polylite Taiwan Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company primarily engaged in the research and development, manufacture and distribution of optical lenses. The Company's lenses are made of polycarbonate (PC) and other materials. Its products mainly include vision correction use optical lenses, polarized lenses, coated lenses, dust free lenses, photochromic lenses and anti-blue lenses, among others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
