Profoto Holding AB (publ) reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was SEK 172 million compared to SEK 235 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 182 million compared to SEK 242 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 27 million compared to SEK 54 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 0.67 compared to SEK 1.34 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was SEK 583 million compared to SEK 618 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 606 million compared to SEK 641 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 119 million compared to SEK 130 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 2.96 compared to SEK 3.24 a year ago.
Profoto Holding AB (publ) is a Sweden-based parent of the international group, which offers lighting products for professional photographers. Profoto invents, markets and sells lighting systems for professional photography, such as flashes and light shaping tools. The Company develops its product offerings by launching products with AirX technology as well as hybrid products for on-location photographers who shoot both photos and video. Profoto's products combine hardware and software, that the Company sells through dealers. The end users are professional photographers and commercial customers, including consumer brands and e-commerce companies. The company is represented in over 60 markets globally. The subsidiaries are tasked with serving primarliy as sales companies.
