He said exciting that, Qingdao Port created a miracle for container industry in the world, everyone would be proud of China.

The stevedoring task began at 0:20 a.m. and ended at 9:25 a.m., which handled 1,785 TEU. The efficiency of bridge crane of automation terminal was 39.6 TEU per hour, creating a world record among automatic terminals in the world, which was 50% higher than global automation terminals. Meanwhile, it was beyond efficiency of manual terminal,

On 11th May, the global leading and the first fully automation terminal in Asia has been running. Its systems steady ran. With the independent intellectual property rights of Qingdao Port, the terminal used automatic system to manage, changing the traditional operation of container terminal, to create a new era of automatic containers handling. After operating over 7 months, the features of Qingdao Mode were paid more attention by people from domestic and foreign, which included low cost, shorte period of construction, high starting point, intelligent, high efficiency, safety and no any greenhouse gas emissions.

Since the terminal operated, the QQCTN(the short name of Qingdao Automation Terminal)used the advantages to integrate operation, technology and IT to explore the way to operate. In case of equipments, we optimized the automatic features, such as, hull scanning, automatic prevention of shaking and twisting and accurate positioning, improving reliability of equipments, to effort to avoid to operational breakdown. The reliability rate of the equipments reached to 99.6%. In the case of operation, we were keeping optimizing strategy of storage yard and operating control, setting up and optimizing 146 and 89 operation procedures, respectively. In the case of system, we optimizing the operating logic of bridge crane platform and designed the route of AGV. In designing functions of TOS systems, we achieved a breakthrough that the automation terminal could stevedore according to ship map location, to improve the efficiency of handing containers.
