• Realter, which is among Relatech Group's innovation projects, is an Augmented Reality Device dedicated to reproducing visual impairment to support rehabilitation.

Relatech S.p.A., Digital Enabler Solution Know-How (DESK) Company, listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market (Ticker: RLT), announces that, through Gruppo SIGLA, it participated in the Realter Open Lab, organized by the Chiossone Foundation. The workshop dedicated to the biomedical project Realter was held on Friday, July 21, at the Department of Architecture and Design of the University of Genoa, as part of the Homer Project Final Event.

Realter, an innovative project launched at the end of 2021 in which Gruppo SIGLA contributed within a broad partnership that also involved Ggallery, ETT and FOS Greentech, in collaboration with the University of Genoa (DIBRIS - Department of Informatics, Bioengineering, Robotics and Systems Engineering), IIT (Italian Institute of Technology) and Fondazione Chiossone; led to the creation of a wearable device based on modern Virtual and Augmented Reality technologies that enables professionals in the field of visual, sensory, motor and cognitive disabilities to experience the "real world" through the visual perspective of visually impaired people and to devise personalized recovery strategies.

As part of the project, Gruppo SIGLA developed a Data Analytics system in order to collect data and provide useful information to professionals in the field, who in this way can develop increasingly precise and effective rehabilitation pathways oriented toward personalized medicine.

The Realter Open Lab is an important milestone for the project, as it allowed to show the features and benefits of a state-of-the-art wareable device that through modern Augmented and Virtual Reality technologies can improve visual rehabilitation procedures.
