Chari announced that it has received funding on January 20, 2022. The transaction included participation from new investors Khwarizmi Ventures, Afri Mobility, the venture capital arm of Akwa Group SA, also included participation from returning investor, AirAngels, Y Combinator Management LLC, Rocket Internet SE, Global Founders Capital Management GmbH, Plug & Play Ventures, Orange Digital Ventures US LLC, Harvard Management Company, Inc., Village Capital and P1 Ventures. The round was raised at post-money valuation of $100,000,000.
