SberBank has joined the C2B framework of the Faster Payments System. Once the bank tests the service on a piloted group of customers throughout July and makes sure it is stable, the solution will be scaled up across all SberBank Online users, step by step.

SberBank always strives to provide convenient services that ensure quick solutions for its clients. With FPS C2B enabled, customers will be able to pay businesses in a simple and secure way. Both customers and merchants using the system will benefit from this convenient solution.

Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Sberbank

Fintech company ЮMoney (a Sber ecosystem resident) has also completed the work to make the C2B service available to individuals and companies. FPS payments through ЮKassa are currently also available to a group of merchants, with whom we are working on technical details to improve customer experience and see how and if the service can be scaled up further.

The Bank of Russia's Faster Payments System (FPS) allows clients to pay for products and services to merchants via online money transfers from a customer's bank account to that of an entity if both these banks are FPS participants. Buyers pay for their purchases using their bank's mobile app by scanning an FPS QR sticker that had been generated for the merchant beforehand or by scanning an FPS one time QR code for a specific purchase.
