Atadurdy Bayramov Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Kazan) has paid a working visit to the Company's facilities.

Consul General got acquainted with the activities of the PJSC TATNEFT's Modeling Center and with the Center's capabilities in building geological and hydrodynamic models for oil fields.

The program of the visit included a visit to the new constructed AGNI research campus in Almetyevsk, a meeting with students from Turkmenistan, who study at the Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute. The Company presented to Atadurdy Bayramova the TATNEFT Corporate University, which provides the professionals' advanced training for the oil-producing and processing industries.

Cooperation issues have been discussed with participation of Nail Maganov, General Director of TATNEFT.

The partnership in the field of crude oil and gas production between TATNEFT and the Turkmennebit State Concern at the Goturdepe field has been developing for over 10 years and it is enshrined in the relevant Agreement between Tatarstan and Turkmenistan dated June 28, 2008, the Protocol on the development of cooperation in the oil and gas sector, signed in July 2008, as well as a service contract between TATNEFT and the Turkmennebit State Corporation, which has been continued by additional agreements.

Within the framework of a service contract, TATNEFT professionals implement a production program to enhance crude oil recovery at the wells of Goturdepe field. The application of geological and technical measures has allowed increasing the production by 18%. The introduction of production enhancement operations carried out at 190 wells made it possible to additionally produce more than 380 thousand tonnes of crude oil providing for the creation of more than 500 job positions at the same time.

TATNEFT has organized service industrial facilities for the repair of electric submersible pumps, tubing in Turkmenistan and has built an industrial base for performance of repair works.

The parties have discussed the strategy for further mutually beneficial cooperation presented by the Company's experts, which will allow doubling the crude oil production at the fields of Turkmenistan. They also have considered the issue of training students from Turkmenistan at the AGNI under the master's program in geological and hydrodynamic modeling, which allows increasing the competence of the professionals in the of crude oil production.
