Tatneft : Figures Demonstrating Operation Results in December and for Twelve Months of 2020

Crude Oil Production

Enterprises of the TATNEFT Group of Companies produced 2,188.6 thousand tonnes of crude oil in December with the production volume from the beginning of the year amounting to 26,013.5 thousand tonnes, which was 3,784.5 thousand tonnes less than during the same period in 2019.

PJSC TATNEFT's production volume amounted to 2,162 thousand tonnes of crude oil in December with the Company's production from the beginning of the year amounting 25,694.7 thousand tonnes (-3,774 thousand tonnes versus the relevant period in 2019).

The Company's production from the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 26.3 thousand tonnes in December, while the production volume from the beginning of the year amounted to 318.8 thousand tonnes (-10.3 thousand tonnes versus a relevant production volume in 2019).

The production volume of the high-viscosity oil amounted to 309.9 thousand tonnes in December and 3,375 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year, which was 639.9 thousand tonnes more, than the production volume for the relevant period in 2019.

New Drilling

520 new wells were built and delivered to the customers during the twelve months of 2020 (728 wells in 2019), including drilling of 478 production wells with the exploration drilling accounting for 10 wells and 32 wells drilled to bitumen deposits.

Active Well Stock Drilling

12 wells were delivered to the customers in the category of sidetracks and horizontal wellbore drilling in twelve months of 2020.

Drilling of Wells Outside the Republic of Tatarstan

1 production well 2 and exploratory wells were drilled in the Samara Region.

As of today, the works on the well drilling were completed in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

Repair of Wells

The remedial well servicing and workover crews performed basic well servicing in 9,115 wells at the sites of PJSC TATNEFT in twelve months (717 wells in December 2020), while the workover operations were performed at 2,096 wells (163 wells in December). Formation hydrocracking operations were performed 323 wells.

Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 951 wells (28 wells in December).

Production Performance of JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 1,024.02 thousand tonnes of raw stock in December and with the volume processed from the beginning of the year amounting to 12,044.8 thousand tonnes; the volume of petroleum feedstock processed in December amounted to 946 thousand tonnes and 11,350.2 thousand tonnes processed since the beginning of the year.

The TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants and Complex yielded 947.3 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in December 2020 outputting 12,044 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year with the yield of the motor gasoline brands amounting to 98.7 thousand tonnes in December (1,201.1 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year), and diesel fuel production in the amount of 406,5 thousand tonnes (3,441.6 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year).
