· Supervisory Board appoints Michael Finger to the Board of Management as of May 1, 2020

· Dieter Schäfer leaves Supervisory Board; Andrea Bauer nominated as successor

· Virtual Annual General Meeting on May 20, 2020

Personnel changes in the technotrans Group: Effective May 1, 2020, the Supervisory Board will expand the Board of Management of technotrans SE to include Michael Finger, who will initially assume responsibility for sales in the new markets division. Changes also in the Supervisory Board: Dieter Schäfer has resigned for personal reasons. Andrea Bauer will be proposed as his successor at the Annual General Meeting on May 20, 2020. Based on the COVID-19 legislation, technotrans will hold a virtual Annual General Meeting this year at the originally planned time.

Michael Finger will become a new member of the Board of Management of technotrans SE effective May 1, 2020. As CSO within the Group, the 49-year-old graduate mechanical engineer will initially assume responsibility for sales on the so-called new markets. Mr. Finger has previously held various management positions internationally, including at Hella, TT Electronics and Winkelmann Automotive.

'We are pleased to have found in Mr. Finger a proven sales expert with an automotive-related background, who, building on his expertise, will dynamically continue the growth course we have embarked on in the new markets and especially in electromobility,' explains Heinz Harling, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

technotrans's Board of Management will thus consist of four members in the future: Dirk Engel (Chairman of the Board of Management and CFO), Michael Finger (CSO), Peter Hirsch (CTO/COO) and Hendirk Niestert (CSO), who will initially focus his sales responsibility on the Print and Services division, before handing over overall sales responsibility to Mr. Finger in the medium term and taking over tasks from Mr. Hirsch as the new COO.

'I am very much looking forward to my new position in the technotrans Group and the opportunity to shape the future of the Group together with my colleagues,' said Michael Finger.

'The appointment of Mr. Finger is a good decision for the technotrans Group,' said Dirk Engel, Chairman of the Board of Management. 'Mr. Finger's competence profile is a perfect addition to our Board of Management team to drive forward and sustainably shape the strategic realignment initiated under the motto 'Shaping the future through development!'.

Changes in the Supervisory Board
In addition to the changes on the Board of Management of technotrans SE, there are also changes on the side of the Supervisory Board. Dieter Schäfer, who has been a member of the Supervisory Board as a shareholder representative since 2010, is leaving the Supervisory Board for personal reasons at the end of this year's Annual General Meeting.

The Supervisory Board will propose Ms. Andrea Bauer to the Annual General Meeting as his successor in office. Ms. Bauer is a tax consultant, auditor and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She was most recently a member of the Management Board of VDM Metals Holding GmbH and CFO of VDM Metals Group. She is currently a member of the Supervisory Board of Aurubis AG, among others.

'We are very pleased that Ms. Bauer is the first woman to join the Supervisory Board of technotrans. Her extensive knowledge and experience in corporate management, accounting and the application of internal and external control systems fill the gap left by our esteemed colleague Dieter Schäfer, whom we would like to thank for his many years of service to technotrans SE,' says Heinz Harling, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

The Supervisory Board will propose the election of Ms. Bauer to the Supervisory Board of technotrans SE at the Annual General Meeting on May 20, 2020.

Virtual Annual General Meeting 2020
In view of the current legal situation, which does not permit larger meetings, the event will be held as a virtual Annual General Meeting based on COVID-19 legislation without the physical presence of shareholders or their proxies. The invitation to the Annual General Meeting is published in the Federal Gazette (Bundesanzeiger) of April 9, 2020.
