Tofu Restaurant Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 507.589 million compared to TWD 381.154 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 75.531 million compared to TWD 45.243 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 59.864 million compared to TWD 36.667 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.64 compared to TWD 1.65 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 2.55 compared to TWD 1.57 a year ago.
Tofu Restaurant Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the Korean chain restaurant business. The Company has two business segments, catering segment and others segment. The Company operates six brands in Taiwan, namely Dubu House, Hanjinmapu, Tongpan, Beichun Tofu Home, Dubu Dubu and HanJeongSigâs Kitchenette, which are mainly engaged in the provision of Korean tofu, copper plate barbecue, baked streaky, drinks, desserts and other meals. The Companyâs sales market is mainly dominated by Taiwan.
