Tofu Restaurant Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 369.009 million compared to TWD 307.112 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 50.162 million compared to TWD 42.654 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 39.730 million compared to TWD 33.993 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.07 compared to TWD 1.85 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.97 compared to TWD 1.81 a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was TWD 1,023.280 million compared to TWD 810.901 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 124.346 million compared to TWD 105.844 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 99.190 million compared to TWD 85.003 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 5.24 compared to TWD 4.76 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 4.97 compared to TWD 4.67 a year ago.
Tofu Restaurant Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the Korean chain restaurant business. The Company has two business segments, catering segment and others segment. The Company operates six brands in Taiwan, namely Dubu House, Hanjinmapu, Tongpan, Beichun Tofu Home, Dubu Dubu and HanJeongSigâs Kitchenette, which are mainly engaged in the provision of Korean tofu, copper plate barbecue, baked streaky, drinks, desserts and other meals. The Companyâs sales market is mainly dominated by Taiwan.
