Tofu Restaurant Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 521.160 million compared to TWD 369.009 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 85.052 million compared to TWD 50.162 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 83.521 million compared to TWD 39.730 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.71 compared to TWD 2.01 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 3.6 compared to TWD 1.92 a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was TWD 1,293.920 million compared to TWD 1,023.280 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 179.049 million compared to TWD 124.346 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 174.014 million compared to TWD 99.190 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 7.76 compared to TWD 5.09 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 7.37 compared to TWD 4.83 a year ago.
Tofu Restaurant Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the Korean chain restaurant business. The Company has two business segments, catering segment and others segment. The Company operates six brands in Taiwan, namely Dubu House, Hanjinmapu, Tongpan, Beichun Tofu Home, Dubu Dubu and HanJeongSigâs Kitchenette, which are mainly engaged in the provision of Korean tofu, copper plate barbecue, baked streaky, drinks, desserts and other meals. The Companyâs sales market is mainly dominated by Taiwan.
