The beautiful story that links cycling to TotalEnergies is not going to end. The partnership between the Vendee-based team and TotalEnergies, which began seven years ago, has been extended until 2025. The team, composed of 25 riders of 7 different nationalities, will therefore continue the adventure, after a very positive year in 2022.

After a successful year in 2022 (15 victories, including 4 in the World Tour and 11 different winners), Team TotalEnergies is extending its partnership with the Vendee-based team for the next three years.

The efforts made by all the riders and staff during the year 2022 have rewarded the team, which will be able to participate in all the 'World Tour' races automatically from 2023. This is excellent news for our team and its members, whose very good performances this year once again demonstrate the professionalism and collective enthusiasm that they embody.

Beyond these values, by participating in the World Tour events, our riders will take part in the most prestigious races on all continents to proudly represent Team TotalEnergies.

The history between cycling and TotalEnergies

The Team TotalEnergies team was born under the leadership of Jean-Rene Bernaudeau, a former professional cyclist turned sports director. In 2016, he headed the Direct Energie team, which became Total Direct Energie and then Team TotalEnergies in 2021. Since its creation, the team has brought together and thrilled cycling fans thanks to the great champions who have worn our colors: Thomas Voeckler, Sylvain Chavanel, Lilian Calmejane... and now Pierre Latour, Anthony Turgis, Alexis Vuillermoz Edvald Boasson-Hagen and Peter Sagan among others.

For TotalEnergies, this partnership strengthens brand awareness and highlights the company's proximity to its customers in the regions. All year round, the riders unite around a sport and a team whose values we share: solidarity, respect, performance, safety and pioneering spirit. And what is certain is that the Team has not finished making us dream.
