The Consumers' Association warns to be careful when ordering from Woneninterieur.nl. The online store has been causing many complaints for some time.

Complainants complain about orders that are delivered very late or not at all. Also, according to customers, Woneninterieur.nl does not pay back on time or not at all if they cancel an order or return the order. In addition, the company is hardly accessible. On Trustpilot, the company scores a 1.8.

The Consumers' Association already spoke to Woneninterieur in November 2023 about the problems. In response, the company promised improvement. From January 2024, among other things, Woneninterieur would bring in an external customer service and expand its own team to improve accessibility. In addition, Woneninterieur promised to check the delivery times for its products and adjust them where necessary. Woneninterieur would also receive more money soon, which the company would use to clear the backlog of refunds.

The Consumers' Association asked Woneninterieur to put a notice on its homepage about the longer delivery times and refund backlogs. But the Web store did not do so. While Woneninterieur did report that "delivery times are slightly delayed," according to the Consumers Union, that does not cover it. The company did add an option to pay afterwards.

In December, trade association Thuiswinkel Waarborg withdrew its certificate, but that didn't help either. In March and April, the number of complaints increased even further. Moreover, Woneninterieur reports almost all negative reviews on Trustpilot, mostly wrongly.

The Consumers' Association reported the ongoing problems to the Consumer & Market Authority.
