Unilever has appointed Nicole Sparshott, the CEO of its speciality teas business T2, as the new Chief Executive of its Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) unit. She replaces Clive Stiff, who is retiring from the business following eight years in the role and a 34-year career in the FMCG industry. Stiff is credited with driving growth and leading the digitisation of the ANZ business as a pioneer for Unilever globally. Sparshott will retain leadership of the T2 business as Global CEO in addition to her role as CEO for Unilever Australia & New Zealand. She will assume the role from the beginning of April and will report to Unilevers Global Chief Operating Officer, Nitin Paranjpe. The group stated that she brings to the role deep experience across general management, brand development and marketing, combined with a passion for purpose-led business.
