Univest Financial Corporation reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported net interest income was USD 54.33 million compared to USD 51.47 million a year ago. Net income was USD 16.8 million compared to USD 13.17 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.57 compared to USD 0.45 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.57 compared to USD 0.45 a year ago.
For the six months, net interest income was USD 113.65 million compared to USD 98.13 million a year ago. Net income was USD 37.83 million compared to USD 33.48 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.29 compared to USD 1.14 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.28 compared to USD 1.13 a year ago.
