Volvere CEO Jonathan Lander dies; COO Nick Lander fills in

Volvere PLC - Leamington Spa, England-based investor in undervalued or distressed businesses - Chief Executive Jonathan Lander dies on Monday after a "short illness", Volvere says. Chief Operating Officer Nick Lander takes over CEO responsibilities, additionally to his own. "Further board changes will be announced in due course," Volvere says. Comments Nick Lander: "Jonathan was not only my business partner for more than 23 years but also my brother and best friend...Jonathan leaves in place a strong team with extensive, loyal service to the group."

Current stock price: 1,102.00 pence, down 7.4% early Tuesday in London

The Company also acquires any company that is complementary to its existing portfolio, or which is in a sector in which it has specialist knowledge.
