Wisher Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 199.921 million compared to TWD 137.265 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 83.123 million compared to TWD 1.857 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 385.002 million compared to net loss of TWD 12.800 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.77 compared to TWD 0.03 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.72 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.12 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 3.69 compared to diluted loss per share of TWD 0.12 a year ago.
WISHER INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. is principally engaged in processing, manufacture and distribution of fabric and filament products. The Company provides textured yarns, polyester filament woven fabrics and knitted fabrics. The Companyâs products include elastic polyester textured yarns, special polyester textured yarns and other products, which are applied in manufacture of knitted fabrics, casual apparels, sportswear, industrial fabrics and trousers, among others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
