Wisher Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 204.237 million compared to TWD 146.815 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 12.035 million compared to operating Income of TWD 41,000 a year ago. Net income was TWD 2.865 million compared to TWD 15.656 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.01 compared to TWD 0.16 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.03 compared to TWD 0.15 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.03 compared to TWD 0.15 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 404.158 million compared to TWD 284.080 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 95.159 million compared to TWD 1.815 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 387.867 million compared to TWD 2.857 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.76 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.13 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.74 compared to TWD 0.03 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 3.72 compared to TWD 0.03 a year ago.
WISHER INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. is principally engaged in processing, manufacture and distribution of fabric and filament products. The Company provides textured yarns, polyester filament woven fabrics and knitted fabrics. The Companyâs products include elastic polyester textured yarns, special polyester textured yarns and other products, which are applied in manufacture of knitted fabrics, casual apparels, sportswear, industrial fabrics and trousers, among others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
