Tatneft : Figures Demonstrating Operation Results in July and Seven Months of 2020

Crude Oil Production

Enterprises of the TATNEFT Group of Companies produced 2,026 thousand tonnes of crude oil in July 2020 with the production volume from the beginning of the year amounting to 15,286 thousand tonnes, which was 2,148 thousand tonnes less than during the same period in 2019. PJSC TATNEFT's production volume amounted to 1,999 thousand tonnes of crude oil in July with the Company's production from the beginning of the year amounting 15,097 thousand tonnes (-2,146 thousand tonnes to the relevant period in 2019).

The Company's production from the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 26.6 thousand tonnes in July and 189 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year (-1.3 thousand tonnes versus a similar production volume in 2019).

The production volume of the high-viscosity oil amounted to 288 thousand tonnes in July and 1,802 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year, which was 420 thousand tonnes more, than the production volume for the relevant period in 2019).

New Drilling

352 new wells were built and delivered to the customers in July (363 wells in seven months of 2019), including drilling of 315 production wells with the exploration drilling accounting for 7 wells and 30 wells drilled to bitumen deposits.

Active Well Stock Drilling

12 wells were delivered to the customers in the category of sidetracks and horizontal wellbore drilling in seven months of 2020.

Drilling of Wells Outside the Republic of Tatarstan

As of today, the Company completed the construction of two wells drilled for OOO Tatneft-Samara Company in the Samara Region and testing operations are underway flowback at the site of production well No. 347 and exploratory well No.302.

Drilling of well No. 5p at the Tibeyviskoye field was completed In the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

Repair of Wells

The remedial well servicing and workover crews performed basic well servicing in 5,318 wells at the sites of PJSC TATNEFT in seven months (813 wells in July of 2020), while the workover operations were performed at 1,128 wells (134 wells in July). Formation hydrocracking operations were performed 313 wells (2 wells in July).

Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 784 wells (30 wells in July).

Production Performance of JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 974.03 thousand tonnes of raw stock in In July and with the volume processed form the beginning of the year amounting to 7,197.2 thousand tonnes; the volume of petroleum feedstock processed in In July amounted to 974.4 thousand tonnes and 6,816.8 thousand tonnes processed since the beginning of the year.

The TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants and Complex yielded 911.3 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in July 2020, while the yield from the beginning of the year amounted to 6,839.99 thousand tonnes, including motor gasoline brands production amounting to 106.01 thousand tonnes in July (720.4 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year), and diesel fuel production in the amount of 317.2 thousand tonnes (2,013.4 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year).
