Solar energy company Absolicon is testing a new solar collector variant featuring vacuum tubes as part of the INDHEAP project, aiming to achieve higher temperatures of up to approximately 400 degrees Celsius.

An installation at TotalEnergies in Spain is scheduled to commence this autumn, with an operating temperature of around 200 degrees. Concurrently, the company has secured a feasibility study order from a global pharmaceutical firm valued at approximately SEK 50,000, regarding the integration of solar heating and heat pumps at a manufacturing facility in Italy.
